Chair-a-tea
Many people aren’t aware that right here in Southwest Florida, there is a pressing need to provide a safe, nurturing environment for pregnant teens that are in foster care or have been victims of human trafficking. Prior to the launch of Our Mother’s Home, these young mothers and their babies were often separated at birth. Over the years, our Mentored Living Program has had a 90% success rate of preserving families, transitioning foster mothers to self-sufficiency and saving the lives of their children by avoiding their re-entry into foster care. Our efforts to break the cycle can’t take effect support from our community.
Our Mother’s Day Chair-A-Tea Party which will be held at Artichoke & Co. in Bonita Springs on May 13th, 2017. Local artists and businesses are hand painting fun and unique chairs for us to auction off at our tea party. You could help make this event a success by allowing us to display a hand painted chair in one (or a few) of your waiting rooms during the month of April. The goal of displaying the chairs is to promote the event and spread awareness about Our Mother’s Home’s mission. Your business is the perfect place for people to enjoy viewing our artistic chairs while they wait for their appointments.
