rotate among Collier County senior living communities before spreading to the next county.

More than 30,000 veteran families live in Collier County.  Military Movement’s “A Crusade to Connect” represents a timely and much-needed initiative to help coordinate government and community outreach efforts to the veteran community.  The Crusade will effectively increase awareness of both government benefits and community resources, and is intended to support and give back to our Collier County veterans.

“Kristin Downey’s unceasing focus on the way forward with the Military Movement has generated support from the elite veteran communities in Collier County as well as support from the local community in ways that have never been done before. Her persistence to keep was what gained the attention of the Collier County Veterans Council for there is no discrediting the passion this movement was built on,” said Chief William Carl, president of the Collier County Veterans Council.
