Brush up on summer fun at Fathoms and The French Press

As summer heats up, Fathoms and The French Press present a month full of fun and surprises. Included on the menu at beautiful Cape Harbour Marina are an unprecedented chef-bartender collaboration, a splashy painting party, the endless variety of a farmer’s market, lots of live music and a gift card special that keeps on giving.

Don’t miss the first-ever Chefs-Bartenders Dinner 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 7. Fathoms Chefs Fabrice Deletrain and Benjamin Voisin are conspiring with bartenders Jeremy Vincent and Lee Rabidue to blow away a limited seating of diners. Attendees will witness the creation of playful variations on traditional cocktails while the chefs keep pace with a fresh, original menu featuring both unusual ingredients and comfort food dishes with a twist. Call (239) 542-0123 to be among the special guests.

On Sunday, July 14, when it rains it pours with Paint Nite Fort Myers in the house – the coffee house, that is. Grab your friends, raise a glass and unleash your inner artist starting at 4 p.m. at The French Press. Instruction and supplies are included for producing your very own splashy masterpiece, a whimsical depiction of an upturned umbrella catching big droplets of summer rain. Go to paintnite.com for reservations.

Don’t forget about the live music events that happen all month long. Visit FathomsRestaurant.com to see all the bands, happy hours and weekly specials on food. Plus, the Farmers Market returns to Cape Harbour Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. The famous Fathoms Over the Top Bloody Mary is available starting at 10 a.m.

Last but not least, for six days only, for every $100 gift card purchase you make, Fathoms will give you an additional $50 gift card at no additional charge! From July 5-10, visit the restaurant or pre-order by calling (239) 542-0123.
