Councilwoman Katy Errington Seeks Re-Election
Election for the Village of Estero Council, District 4
ESTERO, Fla. (Feb. 8, 2019) – Councilwoman Katy Errington is running for re-election to maintain her seat on the Village of Estero District 4.
Ballots must be cast or mailed in by Tuesday, March 5. Any Estero resident registered with Lee County Elections may vote. Voting not limited to districts only. Visit Lee County Elections website for Vote-by-Mail ballots.
Errington supported council in lowering ad valorem taxes 3 years in a row for residents of Estero and was an integral part of the Village Council team that voted to purchase 62 acres of undeveloped land for future access to the Estero River. Errington’s major concerns include historic preservation, Estero River and water quality issues, red tide, blue-green algae and the preservation of wetlands.
Errington is a liaison for the Charlotte Harbor National Estuary Program and the Conservancy of Southwest Florida. She is also a member of the Rotary Club of Estero and the Estero Historical Society.
