E. Sue Huff is helping to coordinate Immokalee Children’s “Toy Drive” with First Assembly of Immokalee

Sue Huff of E. Sue Huff & Associates, Inc. is helping to coordinate a toy drive with First Assembly Ministries of Immokalee. Individuals may donate new unwrapped toys now through noon on December 18 at multiple locations throughout Naples.

The goal of the toy drive is to collect over 400 new and unwrapped toys for girls and boys from the ages of 1 to 12. Toys will be distributed to children in the downtown Immokalee community on Sunday afternoon, December 24.

“Many of these children will go without toys this holiday season because their families just can’t afford to purchase them,” says Arnie Coones, pastor at First Assembly Ministries. “We want to reach out to the community around us and try to show love and compassion to those who are among the poorest of the poor.”

After the Sunday afternoon toy distribution, Coones says if there are toys left over they will be delivered to the homes of children in the community immediately surrounding the church facility on Tuesday.

During the year, First Assembly gives out backpacks, school supplies, food and clothes. They want to be a source for helping to meet the needs of the kids in the community says Coones.

Drop off locations for the Children of Immokalee Toy Drive are:
• Ooh La La Jewels Du Jour located at 900 Neapolitan Way in Naples (each person donating a toy will receive a free gift from Ooh La La Jewels Du Jour)
• William C. Huff Companies located at 4227 Progress Avenue in Naples
