Fathoms Restaurant & Bar and The French Press announce a lineup of exciting February events

Scenic Cape Harbour Marina is the place to be for food, fun, art and entertainment this February, with Fathoms Restaurant & Bar and The French Press teaming up to present a full month of events for young and old—and even the four-legged—among us.

THE FRENCH PRESS
On Wednesday, Feb. 4, this European-style bakery café invites you to be a “Mug Monger!” Bring your favorite mug, and we’ll fill it for you once for free! When you leave, it stays. On Valentine’s Day, plan to fall in love with a special Cupid gelato flavor. And on Tuesday, Feb. 17 try a Mardi Gras cupcake and receive some festive beads.

In association with its neighbor, Harbour View Gallery, The French Press presents another in its Evenings at The French Press series on Saturday, Feb. 21. From 6 to 8 p.m., enjoy live music and a conversation with managing gallery member, mixed-media artist Deborah Kerr-Conley. Wine, cheese and charcuterie will be available for purchase, as well as some great art.

From 9 to 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26, Harbour View Managing Member Jeanne Schwerkoske will lead a basic photography class. Learn the terminology, tips and camera features that will help you take better pictures.

FATHOMS RESTAURANT & BAR
Enjoy the big game Sunday, Feb. 1 on the 20-foot big screen T.V., as well as live music and food specials at this casual fine dining eatery on the waterfront.

Another of Fathoms’ popular Full Moon Party events will happen from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday Feb. 6, featuring Jamaican BBQ and live music from The Jungle Boys.

When’s the last time a couple of classically trained French chefs treated you to a private dinner? Make reservations now for an exquisite Chef’s Table on Feb. 9, and experience the ultimate dining experience with Chefs Ben and Fabrice in an intimate setting of only 12 guests. Call (239) 542-0123 for all the details.

From 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, the sparkling harbor sunset will be outdone only by the shine of polished chrome and the roar of hot rods and classic cars on this special family-friendly night devoted to automobile enthusiasts, who can look forward to indulging their passion every Friday thereafter.

Enjoy Mardi Gras food and drink specials and get your beads on Tuesday, Feb. 17. Ladies night happens on Feb. 19 and 26!

From 6 – 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, bring Fido along for Yappy Hour, held at Fathoms the last Saturday of the month for the entire year, in association with the Gulf Coast Humane Society. Fathoms will provide beer and wine, and the DJ will spin the tunes to complete the party atmosphere. Proceeds from beverage sales will benefit GCHS. Cape Harbour’s Fetch Dog Boutique & Bakery will join in the fun, and donate a percentage of their sales to the organization’s important mission.

All month long, enjoy live music Tuesday and Friday from 6 to 10 p.m., and the best hits on Saturday nights by DJ Juan Gomez—and wind up every weekend with Sunday Funday from 4 to 7 p.m. with bloody Mary specials. Don’t forget half-price pizza night Wednesdays from 5 to 10 p.m.
