FPRA to host “PR101 – Be Good at Doing Good: Marketing Your Mission”

Recognizing the state of the economy, it is widely known that nonprofit budgets are limited and sometimes scarce. “PR101 – Be Good at Doing Good: Marketing Your Mission,” hosted by The Florida Public Relations Association Southwest Florida Chapter on Thursday, May 12 from 8:00-11:00 a.m. will provide nonprofits with valuable information and gain essential resources to better their programs and services.
 
Five local PR and media professionals will donate their time to nonprofit leaders and staff and present information and tips on the following topics: Marketing Communications: Planning to Succeed, Social Media Engagement, Crisis Communications, Marketing on a Shoestring Budget and Working with the Media. The list of guest speakers includes: Samantha Scott, APR, Pushing the Envelope; Danielle Flood, ECHO; Victoria Moreland, Lee County Port Authority; Robin Griffith, Gulf Coast Humane Society and Mike Jackson, JacksonPR.
 
Admission will be $10 per attendee, which will include the full presentation and light breakfast at Embassy Suites. Embassy Suites is located at 10450 Corkscrew Road, Estero, FL 33928.
