La Colmar Bakery & Bistro will be participating in a toy drive to benefit children living in downtown Immokalee
Ana Brendel and Chef Yannick Brendel, owners of La Colmar Bakery & Bistro, are asking Individuals to donate new unwrapped toys now through December 18. Toys collected will be delivered to First Assembly Ministries of Immokalee for distribution to needy children on Christmas Eve.
La Colmar is part of a community toy drive to collect over 400 toys for girls and boys from the ages of 1 to 12.
“We want to help make sure that children who live in some of the poorest neighborhoods in Immokalee have a toy for Christmas,” said Ana Brendel. “I am a mother of three and can’t imagine not being able to provide for them; I want to take part in helping children — especially those who are not privileged to get a simple gift. Every child deserves a toy.”
La Colmar Bakery & Bakery is located at 80 Tamiami Trail North near downtown Naples at the corner of 1st Avenue North and 9th Street (US 41). For more information, please visit www.lacolmar.com or call 239-315-4303.
