Leadership Coalition on Aging to host “Senior Housing and How to Pay for It” – July 12

The Leadership Coalition on Aging (LCA) will be hosting the second session of their three-part educational series on senior empowerment on Thursday, July 12 from 1 to 3 pm at Bradford Square located at 3255 Vanderbilt Beach Road in Naples. This session is being held to educate community seniors on “Senior Housing and How to Pay for It.”
The session is intended for the “55 Plus” local demographic who want to gain objective insights from area experts about senior housing options.
“Often, people end up trying to figure out what residential options are available during a time of crisis,” says Heather Baker, chair of the LCA Steering Committee. “By attending this information session, families can get expert advice before a pressing need arises and have the peace of mind that–if, or when a change of residence is needed, they’ll have a plan.”
Speakers for this session will include Bruce Rosenblatt of Senior Housing Solutions; Rick Grow, CSA of Lara, May & Associates; Leslie Dean of Dean Law; and Lisa Kopp of Hope PACE.
The session is free and open to the public and seniors are highly encouraged to take part. To register, please call 239-687-3156.
The third and final session of this series, Advanced Planning: Getting your Affairs in Order, will be held on Thursday, September 13 at the South Regional Library located in Lely.
