Melody Porter Joins the Firm of Grossman Law & Conflict Management

Attorney and Mediator Keith Grossman, founder and managing partner of Grossman Law & Conflict Management, is pleased to announce that Melody Porter has joined the firm as its newest Associate Attorney.

A Fort Myers native, Porter is proud to return to Southwest Florida to begin her legal career. After teaching middle school civics as part of her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science Education, Porter realized how important the law and court systems are to our community. Graduating from Florida State University in 2010, Porter went on to the University of Miami School of Law, where she graduated in 2013.

She was actively involved as a Senator for the Student Bar Association as well as a competitor on the Charles C. Papy Moot Court Board. Porter focused her studies on child, marital and family law while also working for a private family law firm. Prior to working for Grossman Law & Conflict Management, she volunteered with the Department of Children and Families’ Fort Myers office.

“It is vital that as lawyers, we truly appreciate the needs of our community and our clients, and how the law affects them,” Porter said.

Porter is a member of the Florida Bar and the Lee County Bar Association, and is a Provisional Member of the Junior League of Fort Myers.

“Melody is an excellent addition the firm,” said Keith Grossman. “Her dedication to our clients and the local community is inspiring to our entire staff”.
