Oasis Senior Advisors continues nationwide expansion

A longtime engineer, a health care researcher and a former big-box store manager are the newest Oasis Senior Advisors. The Bonita Springs-based company has brought on a trio of new franchisees to add to the nearly 100 helping seniors and their families across the country.

“Our fast growth is a testament to the value of our compassionate, personalized service that helps make senior living simple,” Oasis Senior Advisors CEO Tim Evankovich said. “Seniors, families and senior care professionals know us as a trusted resource, and these new franchisees will help strengthen that trust in their communities.”

Chris Diselets is the new vice president of the Oasis Senior Advisors franchise in Pinellas County, Florida. The Montreal native spent more than a decade in engineering and architecture, even building a walking robot while earning his bachelor’s in mechanical engineering at Concordia University.

A strong believer in community service, he’s a member of the Community Development Advisory Board for the City of Largo, developing solutions to improve the area’s urban planning. Now, he’s building on that with his role at Oasis.

“When I first considered working as an Oasis Senior Advisor, I thought this would give me the opportunity to be more out there, interacting with the community and building relationships with lots of people, something I always wanted to do,” Diselets said. “Helping seniors and their families find the right living situation gives me a great sense of accomplishment.”

Lindsey Poeth brings 15 years of experience in the health care industry as a researcher and a marketer to her new role as president of the Mainline Philadelphia franchise of Oasis Senior Advisors. She succeeds new Oasis corporate Vice President John Benbrook in the position, and she’s committed to making sure seniors have their voices heard.

“I listen and use my experience to offer assistance and provide guidance to match them with their ideal senior living community — a much-needed service,” Poeth said. “I am dedicated to supporting seniors and their families as they approach a time of transition, serving as a trusted advisor committed to their best interests.”

Poeth is a native of upstate New York, with a degree in economics and international relations from the University of Rochester. Matthew Gardiner, the new Oasis Senior Advisor for Buffalo, New York, also has strong ties to the area and firsthand experience with aging loved ones in need of the right care.

“Through my experience, I continued to find that when my family needed direction and guidance, we were left to do the research ourselves,” Gardner said. “Having gone through this, when I learned of Oasis, I knew it was a special fit.”

Gardner is with seniors and their families every step of the way as he helps them navigate the maze of senior housing options. He leverages his experience at Target and Sears to find solutions that meet their needs, time and again.
