PACE Center for Girls PR Campaign Earns Two Image Awards from FPRA for Love That Dress! 5

Kendra Sutton, Chair of Love That Dress! 6, is pleased to announce that the public relations campaign created by CONRIC PR & Marketing | Publishing for the Love That Dress! 5 fundraiser has won an Award of Distinction and an Image Award from the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Southwest Florida Chapter.
Local Image Awards winners demonstrate the very best examples of innovation, planning and design in Southwest Florida. Entries are evaluated by FPRA judging committees from other chapters in the interest of impartiality; FPRA Space Coast and FPRA Volusia/Flagler chapters judged the 2014 entries from the Southwest Florida chapter.
The Love that Dress! 5 campaign was recognized for not only creating awareness for its fifth anniversary, but for the events leading up to it. Along with an incredible committee and support from the community, a strong public relations strategy was one of the key components to the record breaking fundraising efforts and overall attendance.
CONRIC PR & Marketing | Publishing is also currently working on the committee and campaign for Love That Dress! 6. Thousands of new and gently loved dresses will be collected at various dress collection parties held in the next few months leading up to the big annual Love That Dress! event in August.
Beach to ball gown to bridal, GAP to Gucci are all accepted. Ladies, children’s and plus sizes are all needed. In addition, LTD! accepts new and gently loved handbags, shoes and accessories to continue and expand its services to empower at-risk girls ages to become productive, self-sufficient and happy members of society.
An estimated 800 fashionistas (and a few brave men) are expected to stake their claim on these thousands of new and gently worn dresses and accessories selling for nominal prices at LTD!6 held on August 27, 2014, 5-9pm at The Embassy Suites in Estero. Guests will also enjoy the event’s popular silent auction, camaraderie, and cocktails. Major sponsors will have access to the VIP shopping offering private dressing rooms, clothing hold, express check-out service, complimentary adult beverages, hors d’oeuvres and a private selection of decadent chocolates. In addition, White House Black Market is again the Title Sponsor, offering new dresses, accessories, shoes and handbags at unbelievable bargain prices.
