Placeres represented Preferred Travel of Naples At Signature Board of Directors meeting in Baltimore
Olga Placeres, CFO and agency manager for Preferred Travel of Naples, recently represented the travel agency at a Signature Board of Directors meeting at the Sagamore Pendry in Baltimore.
The Signature Board of Directors is comprised of only 11 members from around the world. Placeres, a board member since 2012, attended the four-day meeting which reviewed technology, new markets and emerging destinations, future travel trends, recession planning and how agencies stay relevant.
“Attending this meeting was extremely beneficial and strategizing with the Signature travel network and was enlightening,” said Placeres. “I gained a wealth of knowledge that will help provide the best service to our clients.”
The member shareholders of Signature elect the Signature Board of Directors during the annual Owner’s Meeting in September. Directors serve a two-year term and provide strategic direction for the organization.
