Sheryl Soukup, President of Soukup Strategic Solutions, will be the featured guest speaker at the eighth annual “Thinking Outside the Box” seminar which will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Naples Daily News Community Room located at 1100 Immokalee Road in Naples.
Soukup is known for her expertise in the areas of fundraising and non-profit management. She has earned the designation CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) and is a registered Fundraising Consultant with the State of Florida. Soukup’s work as a consultant is concentrated in strategic planning, fundraising, marketing and board development.
Soukup was employed for fifteen years by non-profits, ten of those years as a chief executive. Soukup’s professional and volunteer experience in non-profits includes a wide range of industries and disciplines, including academic and scientific research, affordable housing, child care, mentoring, tutoring and literacy programs, disability services, legal aid, community coalitions, community centers, churches, hospital and health clinics, schools and universities.
This year’s seminar theme is Ask the Magic 8 Ball which coincides with the eighth annual event. The free seminar is being presented by the event’s founder Sue Huff of E. Sue Huff & Associates.
There will be six speaker topics in total and all will be presenting topics to help local non-profits improve their marketing and development strategies.
Speakers will include: Sue Huff; Kelly E. Capolino, Founder of the Diamond Volunteer Program; Sara Rose Bytnar of Scott Robertson Auctioneers; Matt Dykes and Hope Daley of Guerilla Media; Paul Kessen, President of Allegra of Naples; plus featured presenter Sheryl Soukup, Founder of Soukup Strategic Solutions, Inc.
