The Jac makes Valentine’s Day dinner extra sweet

The perfect island setting for an exceptional Valentine’s Day dinner is The Jac Sanibel Island Bar & Grille. The new restaurant on Periwinkle Way is planning a three-course prix fixe special to help guests make just the right impression on that certain someone.

Couples start with a pre-selected bottle of wine and choice of soup or salad. The mouthwatering main course includes a 6-ounce petit filet with Maine lobster tail and two delectable sides.

A handcrafted dessert by The Jac’s newest pastry chef, Jon Comley, provides the sweetest finish, and no one’s heart will break over the bill. Dinner is just $79.95 per couple. Call 239-472-1771 for reservations.

The restaurant’s popular dinner menu will also be available for those who crave The Jac’s familiar favorites.

The enchantment continues daily at The Jac, where the Early Bird Special runs from 4-6 p.m. and includes an appetizer, two entrees and a luscious homemade dessert, all for $29. Early Bird starters include tri-tip sliders, steamed mussels, fried calamari, The Captain’s Spicy Shrimp, and chicken tenders. The Early Bird entrees feature The Jac’s beloved pan-seared mahi, rustic grilled chicken and shrimp scampi.

The Jac’s can’t-miss happy hour runs every day from noon-6 p.m. at the bar. Select appetizers are only $6, draft beers are $3, well drinks are $4 and house wine is $5. The specials don’t stop there — bottles of wine are $10 off on Wine Wednesdays and happy hour is extended to 10 p.m. on Thirsty Thursdays.

Plus, a new family-friendly menu will soon make its debut. Keep up with the latest at thejacsanibel.com or check out The Jac’s Facebook page at facebook.com/TheJacSanibel.
