Three Jones & Co. Realty Agents Attend Largest Real Estate Event of the Year

Jeff Hathy, Jackie Krupp and Jean Vogel, real estate agents with Jones & Co. Realty, attended REALTORS® 98th annual Conference & Trade Expo held Aug. 13-17, 2014, at Rosen Shingle Creek resort in Orlando, Fla.
Each year, the Conference & Trade Expo brings Realtors from around the state together to discuss and vote on key issues that shape their profession and the state association. In addition to committee meetings, members attend more than 30 education sessions on topics such as new trends in real estate, effective property management, converting leads into business, developing a productive team and what’s next for commercial real estate.
Jeff Hathy was excited to bring back valuable ideas to help his clients negotiate more effectively and get better value in the housing market. “The conference featured dynamic speakers who challenged the high-performing Realtors among the crowd to identify how we could be doing even more on behalf of our clients. It was a big, worthwhile event, and I have already been able to apply new strategies in our unique regional market,” he said.
It was Krupp’s first time attending the full convention. “I was able to take advantage of additional networking, social activities and two days seeing the latest business tools at the Expo,” she said. “Opportunities to make new business connections and learn the latest technology helps to enhance my dealings with clients.”
Vogel is president of the Women’s Council of Realtors, Fort Myers Chapter. She said the event was packed with education and networking and that the new social and business connections she made at the conference can last a lifetime. “As a member of Women’s Council of Realtors, it is a time to gain knowledge of leadership and management skills, along with the Florida Realtors sessions about latest market trends, technical skills and legal updates that make staying on the cutting edge of real estate easier,” she said.
