World-Renowned Cybersecurity Expert Brian Krebs to Serve as Keynote Speaker at Organizational Privacy Summit

The Identity Fraud Institute (IFI) at Hodges University, in partnership with Collier County Tourism, is pleased to announce that world-renowned cybersecurity expert Brian Krebs will serve as the keynote speaker for the institute’s inaugural Organizational Privacy Summit (OPS), which will be held April 30 through May 2, 2018.

With the threat of a data breach on the rise, organizations must assess their risk from multiple perspectives, including that of the customer. Hodges’ Organizational Privacy Summit will bring together experts throughout the United States to discuss current threats and opportunities to protect individual and institutional data.

“We are honored that Brian Krebs has agreed to serve as the keynote speaker for the IFI’s first Organizational Privacy Summit. He is one of the leading experts in the field of identity fraud and cybersecurity,” said Carrie Kerskie, director of the Identity Fraud Institute.

Helping to bring down cybercriminals worldwide, Krebs is widely recognized by security experts and criminals alike as the preeminent authority on cybercriminal syndicates and their tools. Krebs is a former reporter for The Washington Post and author of the New York Times best-seller “Spam Nation: The Inside Story of Organized Cybercrime – from Global Epidemic to Your Front Door,” which won the 2015 PROSE Award.

Currently, Krebs hosts a popular security blog, KrebsOnSecurity.com, which provides readers with material about the digital underground and generally undiscovered information that cannot be found anywhere else.
The Organizational Privacy Summit will be held at the Naples Hilton, which is located at 5111 Tamiami Trail North, Naples, FL 34103.

Registration for the conference includes continental breakfast, break snacks and lunch for both days of the event. Registration pricing is as follows:
