Just prior\, Realmark Development\, whi ch had created and sponsored some of the more important events at the luxu ry yachting community and waterfront shopping destination\, stepped back f rom its hands-on involvement. As a result\, the future of major events\, i ncluding Water &\; Wheels\, was uncertain.\n\n \;\n\nTo keep it fro m being canceled\, Business partners Timothy and Meredith Hoffman and Chef Benjamin and Valeria Voisin stepped up to sponsor the 9th Water &\; Wh eels Festival in 2015. Not only has a beloved tradition been saved\, but t his year promises to be the biggest year yet for the event\, presented in association with Westrec Marinas and Cape Harbour Marina.\n\n \;\n\nTh e festivities and the boat show start at noon on Friday\, March 11. From 6 – 10 p.m.\, dance under the stars to rock and roll from the 50s through today by popular local band Lemongrass. Boats – and a boatload of local art – will again be on display all day Saturday\, March 12 from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.\, when NL2 Trio takes to the stage to keep the party going.
