4th Annual LCBA Charity Golf Tournament to Benefit PACE Center for Girls Lee County
Kendra Sutton, Chair for Love That Dress! 6, is pleased to announce that the Lee County Bar Association’s 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, being held Saturday, June 28 at Pelican Preserve Golf Club in Fort Myers, will benefit PACE Center for Girls of Lee County, and will include a Love That Dress! collection event as part of the festivities. Volunteers, sponsors and donors are still needed for this fun-filled day of on- and off-the-course activities. The general public is invited to play or enjoy the silent auction and lunch that follows the tournament.
Bring new or gently loved dresses (from beach to bridal, GAP to Gucci), handbags, shoes and accessories for sale at Love That Dress! 6, PACE’s signature fundraising event, to be held at the Embassy Suites in Estero onWednesday, August 27. In 2013 Love That Dress! 5 garnered more than $135,000 for this organization that has helped nearly 600 girls find success in school, generate a positive relationship with their families and peers and become productive members of our community. Each donor will receive a raffle ticket for a special getaway weekend.
The fun begins with check-in for golf at 7 a.m., with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Silent auction items include a trip to New Zealand. One lucky attendee will walk away with the Extreme Undercover Adventure, which has become an annual offering. Lee County Sheriff Mike Scott and his wife will accompany four guests on a secret mission, including a ride in the “Smuggler’s Nightmare” high-speed boat and an armored Hummer to some top-secret dining destinations.
To register, become a hole sponsor, volunteer or donate call LCBA’s Executive Director Nanci DuBois, at 334-0047 (option 3), visit www.leebar.org or e-mail admin@leebar.org. Golf registration includes lunch and is $135 for a single, $500 for a foursome. Single players will be joined with a foursome. Admission to the lunch and silent auction is $25 for non-golfers. Roetzel & Andress is the Title Sponsor.
With a membership of nearly 800, the Lee County Bar Association has served the citizens and legal community of Lee County since 1949.
