DESCRIPTION:Avow Veterans Committee will honor Purple Heart veterans with a
  ceremony and lunch on Friday\, Aug. 5 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Avow
 ’s Dick Lee &amp\; Mary Martha Tonra Waterview Room in the Ispiri Commun
 ity Center\, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane\, Naples. The lunch is sponsored by Le
 nding to Heroes.\n\nAug. 7 is national Purple Heart Day\, a day to pause a
 nd honor those who were wounded on the battlefield or paid the ultimate pr
 ice for the nation’s freedom. Honorees will be recognized with a commemo
 rative pin.\n\nThe event is free\, but seating is limited. Lunch will be p
