DESCRIPTION:Cancer Alliance Network to host Naples charity golf ball drop a
 t Golf Club of the Everglades\n\nSupport the nonprofit Cancer Alliance Net
 work while earning a chance to win up to $10\,000 at its inaugural charity
  golf ball drop on Friday\, Nov. 1\, at 4 p.m. at the Golf Club of the Eve
 rglades\, 8835 Vanderbilt Beach Road Extension in Naples.\n\nUp to 500 num
 bered golf balls will be sold for $100 each. Excluding the prize money\, a
 ll proceeds benefit local cancer patients and their families in Collier an
 d Lee counties through financial aid\, resources and support.\n\nThe golf 
 balls will be dropped from above by a Collier County Sheriff’s Office he
 licopter\, with the winner determined by how close the ball lands to a pre
 determined hole\, or if it lands in the hole. The prize money will be equa
 lly divided if multiple balls land inside the hole.\n\nSponsors include th
 e Golf Club of the Everglades’ Ladies Golf Association and Gulf Shore Co
 oling. Participants are invited to attend the event but are not required t
 o be present to win. RSVP is not required. Parking is limited\, and bevera
 ges will be available for purchase.\n\nCAN is devoted to providing dignity
  to local cancer patients and their families in Collier and Lee Counties t
 hrough financial aid\, resources and support. Through generous community
