CCCR Presents the 8th Annual Early Childhood Conference
Early childhood educators and others are invited to register for the 8th Annual Early Childhood Conference, hosted by Collier Child Care Resources (CCCR). This year’s conference will be held at the Naples Conference Center (located at the Naples Area Board of Realtors), 1455 Pine Ridge Road, on Saturday, February 7 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Registration and continental breakfast will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Registration cost is $60, if received by January 26th; $75 if received after January 26th or at the door. Early registration is encouraged since close to 200 educators are expected to attend the conference. CEU’s are available. Limited scholarships are available for parents and teachers. Various levels of sponsorships are available for businesses and individuals who wish to support the conference.
This year’s keynote speaker is William J. DeMeo, PhD. Developmental Psychologist. The topic is: Challenging Behaviors: “What to Do When Nothing Else Works!” This dynamic and engaging workshop has been designed to provide practical and effective strategies that can be easily used by educators, as well as parents, focusing on hitting, biting, pulling hair, screaming, tantrums and defiance solutions.
