An Enterprising Dress for Success SW Florida Workshop for Women

Mike Durkin, President of Central Bank of Southwest Florida is proud to announce that Joanne Show, Vice President will present “Start-up of U,” which offers important information on the essential steps to starting a business at the Entrepreneurial Spirit Program (E$P), a Dress for Success SW Florida seminar on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 9 a.m. to noon at Dress for Success SW Florida, located at 12995 S. Cleveland Avenue in Suite 152. All women who would like to start their own business are invited to attend. This seminar is offered free to the public. Seating is limited and attendees are encouraged to register early.

“Central Bank loves being active in community,” states Joanne Show. “Empowering these women as they embark on their entrepreneurial journey is so rewarding, as well as, seeing the success stories as they continue to educate themselves through the other programs offered by Dress for Success.”

The seminar includes informative presentations by leading business professionals from the Southwest Florida community. There is no fee to attend, and breakfast is included.

The three-hour workshop includes a presentation on Dress for Success and the Entrepreneurial Spirit as well as other need-to-know information for successfully starting your own business. In addition to Joanne Show, Vice President of Central Bank Southwest Florida, Connie Ramos-Williams, CEO and President of CONRIC PR & Marketing, will offer tips for developing a marketing strategy for your business in “How to Market Your Own Business.” The session ends out with a presentation from Goodwill SWFL MicroEnterprise Institute, which provides a series of programs in Lee and Collier communities to educate the unemployed and underemployed to become their own boss.

As a follow-up to the E$P workshop, attendees will continue receiving ongoing mentoring and networking sessions provided by Dress for Success SW Florida and supported by the local chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).
