On the heels of its successful Charity Golf Tournament to benefit PACE Center for Girls of Lee County, The Lee County Bar Association has joined with the Lee County Association for Women Lawyers to host a Love That Dress! 6 dress collection and After Party on July 21 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Lindsay Nicole Boutique, 9908 Gulf Coast Main Street, Gulf Coast Town Center. Guests will enjoy a golf putting contest, complimentary wine and appetizers, as well as luxurious massages, nutrition counseling, skin care tips and hair makeovers. This event is open to the public and attendees are encouraged to bring one or more new or gently loved dresses. All styles are accepted, from beach-to-ball gown-to-bridal and GAP to Gucci. New or gently loved handbags, shoes and accessories are also welcome. In lieu of a donated item, guests may donate five dollars to PACE Center for Girls.

Lindsay Nicole Boutique will donate 20% of all sales that day to benefit PACE Center for Girls-Lee. Guests who bring dress donations will be entered into a raffle to win prizes including a specialty cake valued at over $500 by LCBA’s Executive Director and professional Pastry Chef Nanci DuBois. Fabulous silent auction items will include a four-day, three-night stay at the Sanibel Resort Condominiums and an Art Walk/Music Walk basket with hotel stay at Legacy Harbor.

The LCBA’s Fourth Annual Charity Golf Tournament raised more than $20,000 and collected 257 dresses for PACE. “After the superb results from our Charity Golf Tournament on June 28, we couldn’t resist having a fun After Party with more chances to win great prizes, socialize, and support PACE Center for Girls-Lee,” explained LCBA’s social committee chairperson, Amanda Mitteer Bartley, Esquire. “We are also grateful that CopyLady and Jennifer Basey of Edward Jones have graciously offered to sponsor this event.”

All of the dresses and other items collected during the party will be up for sale at this year’s Love That Dress! 6 event on Wednesday, August 27 from 6-9 p.m. at Embassy Suites Hotel in Estero, which is open to the public.

All of the proceeds from Love That Dress! 6 will benefit PACE Center for Girls, a 501c3 non-residential prevention and intervention program targeting the unique needs of girls, ages 12 to 18, facing challenges such as physical and sexual abuse, domestic violence, substance abuse, foster care, neglect, death of a parent, family history of incarceration and declining grades. PACE provides guidance, educational opportunities and a path to a successful life.
