 egal Clinic
DESCRIPTION:The Pro Bono Committee of the Lee County Bar Association (LCBA)
  invites veterans\, active military personnel\, police officers and firefi
 ghters to receive free legal advice at a Veterans and First Responders Leg
 al Clinic\, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday\, October 3 at the Southwest
  Florida Military Museum and Library\, 4820 Leonard Street in Cape Coral. 
 Spearheaded by LCBA Secretary Kelly Fayer and sponsored by CONRIC PR &amp\
 ; Marketing\, the event is free of charge for attendees with valid identif
 ication\, and no registration is required.\n\n \n\nLCBA members will be j
 oined by Florida Rural Legal Services staff attorneys to provide advice on
  matters including bankruptcy\, landlord/tenant issues\, estates and trust
  planning\, real estate/property\, family law\, criminal\, and veterans’
  and social security benefits. In addition to legal advice\, attendees wil
 l also have the opportunity to learn about the services provided by Invest
  in America’s Veterans Foundation and Homes for Heroes\, which will be o
 n hand at the event.\n\n \n\nLCBA Pro Bono Committee Co-Chair Anais Bimon
 te said\, “The Pro Bono Committee is interested in assisting the men and
  women who have given much in their service in the military and our commun
 ity and who now need legal help.”\n\n \n\nThe Pro Bono Committee and th
 e LCBA are grateful for the assistance of Invest in America’s Veterans F
 oundation\, which has graciously provided the use of the Southwest Florida
  Military Museum and Library for the event.\n\n \n\nInvest in America’s
  Veterans Foundation President Ralph Santillo said\, “Some veterans have
  claims to be filed on their behalf to increase their disability payments\
 , some have divorce or domestic problems and some have criminal cases pend
 ing.” He added\, “There is never enough help in the legal field availa
 ble to veterans who are living on limited incomes.”\n\n \n\nConnie Ramo
 s-Williams\, CEO of CONRIC PR &amp\; Marketing\, said\, “As the Pro Bono
  Committee and LCBA strive to make legal services accessible to an often u
 nderserved population\, we are pleased to help get the word out so veteran
 s and first responders can now get the help they need.”\n\n \n\nThe Pro
  Bono Committee develops and expands pro bono activities to provide access
  to the justice system for clients who are unable to pay for attorneys’ 
 services. Through events such as this clinic\, private attorneys are able 
 to provide brief services\, without charge\, to help individuals navigate
