 he Cape Coral Community Foundation has launched the inaugural Power Player
 s Professional Advisor Awards to recognize philanthropic leaders. The firs
 t of its kind in Southwest Florida\, the event will honor one distinguishe
 d Southwest Florida professional advisor in each of seven industries on Mo
 nday\, Jan. 8\, 2018 from 8-9:30 a.m. at the Westin\, Cape Coral.\n\nEach 
 of these Power Players has been identified by his or her peers\, superviso
 r or human resources manager as a top advisor who conducts business with i
 ntegrity and makes a substantial impact in Southwest Florida. These except
 ional advisors have a proven track record in their respective fields while
  also dedicating their time\, talent and treasure to philanthropic endeavo
 rs to enrich the community.\n\nAwards will be granted in these seven categ
 ories: banking\, real estate\, accounting\, attorney/legal\, financial pl
 anning\, insurance and estate planning. Winners will be announced in Dece
 mber 2017.\n\nAward winners\, sponsors and guests will be treated to a mod
 erated discussion between leaders from the Cape Coral Community Foundation
  and the Silicon Valley Community Foundation. Winners will then be present
 ed with their awards and given the opportunity to share a few words with t
 he audience.\n\nThe Silicon Valley Community Foundation\, the largest comm
 unity foundation in the world with $9 billion in charitable assets under m
 anagement\, has partnered on this event with the Cape Coral Community Foun
 dation along with the Financial Advisors Charitable Trust as part of a lar
 ger vision of global partnership and giving.\n\nTickets are $25 in advance
