DESCRIPTION:The Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Southwest Flor
 ida Chapter is pleased to announce it will host the 2015 Public Relations
  University conference on Thursday\, October 8 from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m
 . at Florida SouthWestern State College in Fort Myers. The event will als
 o include a celebration of the chapter’s 30 years as a member of FPRA. 
 \n\n PRU is an annual full-day professional seminar that brings speakers 
 from across the state\, and even from across the nation\, to examine trend
 s in the changing market and the fusion of new media with traditional comm
 unication elements. \n\n The theme of the 2015 event is “Thirty Years 
 of Slicing the PR-RPIE\,” referring to PR professionals’ use of the RP
 IE (Research\, Planning\, Implementation\, and Evaluation) model. Attendee
 s will have the opportunity to brush up on their RPIE basics\, as experts 
 share real-world case studies of how they have used the model to roll out 
 efficient and successful campaigns. This year’s conference promises to b
 e more interactive than ever\, and attendees are sure to gain powerful new
