DID YOU KNOW? One in 16 people in the US will be diagnosed with Lung Cancer in their lifetime. More than 228,000 people in the US will be diagnosed with Lung Cancer this year, with a new diagnosis every 2.3 minutes.
Show your support for those currently battling Lung Cancer, for the survivors, and in memory of those lost to this disease. By participating in this event you will help raise funds to help those get the Lung Cancer Screenings they may desperately need but cannot afford.
Run or Walk 3.1 miles for Lung Cancer Awareness anytime between Nov. 1st and Nov. 22nd. Pick any date to register – Just make sure you complete your run/walk by Nov. 22nd.
Run/Walk on your date, your time, your location. You can do this in your neighborhood, during your daily/weekly run, on a treadmill, or even at another 5K event. Get your family and friends together and go for a group run/walk.
There is also a 1 mile “Walk A Mile In Memory” for those unable to complete 3.1 miles. (T-Shirt NOT included).
THIS IS EVENT IS ON THE HONOR SYSTEM
Registrants will receive a digital Bib with assigned number. When you have completed your run/walk just enter your Bib # and time through our website https://www.4wordsfoundation.org/enter-your-results. First 100 Registrants will receive a t-shirt. All Registrants who complete their walk/run and upload their results will receive a finisher medal.
T-shirts will be mailed mid-October 2019.
Proceeds from this event benefit 4 Words Foundation, a Florida and Connecticut 501(c)(3) non-profit to support their Lung Cancer awareness, education, and Lung Cancer screening assistance programs in their local community.

Can you participate on a bicycle?
YES you can. 3 miles on a bike equals 1 mile running/walking. Bicyclists need to complete 9.3 miles.
Can you complete 5K in multiple days?
YES you can. Just combine times and enter total on website when complete.
Are Sponsorships available?
YES. There are 5 levels of Sponsorship available: Healthy Lungs, Breathe Easy, Awareness Matters, and T-Shirt/Medal sponsorships. See details in registration.
