Organization
Day of Joy began in Upstate New York in 2009 with ten girlfriends sitting around Yvonne Conte’s dining room table. Our first event was held in 2010. In 2016 we expanded to SW Florida. We look forward to fellowship with women everywhere. We have NO paid employees. We are a 100% volunteer organization. Every tax deductible dollar donated and all profit from the conference goes directly to LOCAL TEACHERS who often pay for school supplies out of their own pockets. Each year we choose one school and provide school supplies for each teacher. We believe the best way to overcome poverty, drug abuse and crime is to provide a good education. Our mission is to raise funds each year for school supplies and bless the teachers who work tirelessly all year long. Day of Joy, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
