Gather is going over the top — literally — to celebrate its first anniversary. Cape Coral’s newest premier waterfront dining spot is teaming up with five local restaurants on Saturday, Nov. 3 to host the city’s first-ever rooftop party.
Nice Guys Pizza, Pinchers Crab Shack, Marker 92 Waterfront Bar & Bistro, the Rollin’ Raw Bar and Pink Taco will be dishing out their best cuisine together with Gather from 5-9:30 p.m. on the fifth floor of the Tarpon Point parking garage at 5971 Silver King Blvd.
Soapy Tuna, a Fort Myers-based band, will have everyone grooving to the beat of their favorite tunes from the ‘70s and today with a one-of-a-kind, high-energy spin. Guests are encouraged to stay late and continue the festivities after 9:30 p.m. downstairs at Gather, which will host an afterparty.
Pre-sale tickets are available at the restaurant for $5. Tickets at the door will cost $10. VIP tickets cost $75 and include free food, drinks and access to a VIP lounge.
There’s always something to celebrate at Gather. Taco lovers can enjoy $3 tacos and $5 margaritas every Thursday from 3-10 p.m. Guests who take a picture of their taco, post it to Facebook and tag Gather get one for free.
Gather will host the Sundown Stroll on Thursday, Nov. 15 starting at 4:30 p.m. with the theme “Give Thanks.” The stroll will benefit Best Buddies, an organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The restaurant will collect food donations in exchange for a complimentary drink ticket and there will be live music performed by Stolen Fruit.
Gather features live entertainment every Saturday from 7-10 p.m. Music by DJ Malike will be on tap for Nov. 17 and singer-songwriter Obe Gonzalez will bring a mix of covers and originals to the stage on Nov. 24.
Plus, an exquisite breakfast menu has just made its return, with options ranging from mouthwatering lobster cake benedicts to a spicy breakfast burrito. The breakfast menu is available from 8-11 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday.
