La Colmar Bakery & Bistro will extend hours of operation and offer dinner service

La Colmar Bakery & Bistro will be extending their current hours of operations starting January 1, 2018, and will be open for dinner on New Year’s Day.

Owners Ana and Yannick Brendel have decided to extend the hours of operation for the bakery and bistro to better serve their customers and the high demand. La Colmar will be offering dinner which will include daily specials and seated table service.

The new hours will be Tuesday through Saturday from 8 AM to 9 PM, and Sunday and Monday 8 AM to 5 PM.

The kitchen will be closed for prepared meals from 3 to 5 PM in order to ready the kitchen for dinner service and happy hour. Dinner will be served starting at 6 pm Tuesday through Saturday.

For dinner, La Colmar will feature a Plat Du Jour, a Bouche A La Reine which is a flaky pastry shell stuffed with a savory pork veloute’ — and other savory specials. Chef Yannick will create dinner choices consisting of a beef, poultry or vegetarian inspired recipe.

Happy hour will be offered Tuesday through Saturday from 5 to 6 pm with special wine prices by the glass or bottle. Plus, there will be complimentary small bites provided with purchase of wine. Bottles are priced from $17 and up with corkage fee.

“Guests are welcomed to enjoy the new extended hours and join us for dinner,” says Ana Brendel. “We want to be a part of the community in every way possible; as we say, it all begins with a great dinner, glass of wine and breaking bread together.”

The locally owned French bakery and bistro draws inspiration from Yannick’s home village in the rustic countryside of France. Fresh breads and pastries are baked daily along with sandwiches, various breakfast items and much more.
