• Dr. Robert Cubbedu (President, NCH Heart Institute) – President of the NCH Heart Institute from the Rooney Heart Institute to discuss our stroke program/prevention and some updates/behind the scenes on the new center that just broke ground at the Baker campus downtown. Dr Cubbedu will speak about Stroke prevention and updates on NCH’s new center at Baker Campus downtown.

• Justin Blohm (VP of HSS at NCH) to discuss why NCH has partnered with HSS (Hospital for Special Surgery) in NY, who are the #1 in Orthopedics in the world for 16 years running now. The goal of having the top orthopedic providers in Naples, FL and not having to travel out of state for your care is ideal, and now we are able to provide these services to our residents. He can also touch on the innovative advancements within the building, and the “one stop shop” approach to orthopedic care that we model.

• Dr. Sima Morgan (FGCU) is a Health Sciences faculty member at Florida Gulf Coast University and a healthcare leader with over two decades of experience in public health and medical education. She earned a PhD in Health Administration, an international MD, and an MPH in Public Health Leadership. Her work focuses on improving clinical outcomes through shared decision-making and patients’ experiential knowledge. She has led hospital quality initiatives, individualized treatment planning, and patient engagement programs. Her interdisciplinary approach supports evidence-based strategies that enhance care delivery, outcomes, and the patient journey. Dr Morgan will discuss evidence-based insights on Diabetes/Weight-Loss Medications (Ozempic/Wegovy, Mounjaro/Zepbound)—benefits, risks, and community impact.

• Emcee: Dr. Dawn Belamarich,is President and CEO of Collaboratory, a community foundation with an evolved mission of coordinating the solving of our regionbiggest social challenges by 2040. Dawn holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and Leadership and dual aster’s degrees; one in Sociology/Criminology and one in Mental Health Counseling.will guide the conversation and keep the information and energy high.
