She is an 8-time Sprint/T-Mobile President’s Circle honoree and a Top Women of the Channel recipient, and holds an MBA in MIS and Operations Management from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, a Harvard Business Analytics Program certificate, and is completing her Ed.D. at Florida Gulf Coast University with dissertation research on AI-driven learning.
Today Heidi is a Business Consultant with the Florida SBDC at FGCU — 2024 FGCU Consultant of the Year — advising owners on AI adoption, sales strategy, and digital transformation. She speaks regularly for the Florida Bar Association, the Community Associations Institute, the Greater Naples Chamber, Above Board Chamber of Florida, Common Ground Alliance (Dial 811), and others. She is also the founder of Heath Enterprises, an advisory and investment firm, and formerly owned drone and aviation businesses in Southwest Florida. For NAHREP, Heidi brings the discipline of enterprise revenue building and a working operator’s view of how AI is already reshaping the way realtors, builders, and small business owners find clients, close deals, and scale.

Dr. Huzefa Kagdi is the Dean and Professor of the U.A. Whitaker College of Engineering (WCE) at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). He has over 30 years of experience across public, private, and academic sectors. Throughout his career at R2 and regional comprehensive institutions, he has proven to be an impactful and transformative leader dedicated to student and employee success. Under his leadership, WCE has secured significant funding and launched new degree programs. He also established the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Institute and created the Student Support Services division. An accomplished scholar with over 3,800 citations, Dr. Kagdi is an IEEE Senior Member and received the IEEE ICPC Most Influential Paper Award.
