Our March meeting will focus on Environmental, Social and Governance — commonly abbreviated to ESG. These are the three pillars of performance by which businesses impact our community and the environment in which we live. By understanding a company’s strategy and performance in each area, stakeholders — from investors, employees, and consumers— can decide how to allocate their purchasing dollars, save money, find investors, and help us to create better working boards of directors.
