“Queen vs. Teen Pasta-eating Contest”

Noodles Italian Cafe & Sushi Bar,  located at Mission Square Plaza, 1585 Pine Ridge Road in Naples, will host a fundraiser to help support the mission and goals of Collier Child Care Resources (CCCR) on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 form 6-8 p.m.  Cost is $25.00 per person at the door and includes an Italian food and sushi buffet, served from 6-7, plus one free drink.  Proceeds will benefit the early learning programs of CCCR.

The event’s theme is  “Queen vs. Teen Pasta-eating Contest.”  Representing the “Queen” is Michaela Poole, Mrs. American Beauty, 2014; and the “Teen” is Alex Berman, a cheerleader at Gulf Coast High School and daughter of Matt Berman, owner of “Noodles.”

Matt Berman and his brother, Seth Berman, said they have partnered with CCCR as a way to give back to the community.  Berman added, “We believe that our community is just like family.  Whenever we can help, that’s what we do.  The community benefits from CCCR’s early learning programs and we want to help support those children and families who need it most.”
