Cancer Alliance Network Charity Golf Ball Drop
Cancer Alliance Network to host Naples charity golf ball drop at Golf Club of the Everglades
Support the nonprofit Cancer Alliance Network while earning a chance to win up to $10,000 at its inaugural charity golf ball drop on Friday, Nov. 1, at 4 p.m. at the Golf Club of the Everglades, 8835 Vanderbilt Beach Road Extension in Naples.
Up to 500 numbered golf balls will be sold for $100 each. Excluding the prize money, all proceeds benefit local cancer patients and their families in Collier and Lee counties through financial aid, resources and support.
The golf balls will be dropped from above by a Collier County Sheriff’s Office helicopter, with the winner determined by how close the ball lands to a predetermined hole, or if it lands in the hole. The prize money will be equally divided if multiple balls land inside the hole.
Sponsors include the Golf Club of the Everglades’ Ladies Golf Association and Gulf Shore Cooling. Participants are invited to attend the event but are not required to be present to win. RSVP is not required. Parking is limited, and beverages will be available for purchase.
CAN is devoted to providing dignity to local cancer patients and their families in Collier and Lee Counties through financial aid, resources and support. Through generous community support, CAN turns despair into hope by providing a lifeline during a very difficult time.
