Lee County Bar Association Hosts “Law in the Mall” to Provide Free Legal Advice to the Community
The Lee County Bar Association will kick off “Law Week 2014” by hosting its annual Law in the Mall event on Saturday, April 26th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Edison Mall located at 4125 Cleveland Avenue near Dillards. Attorney Ryan O’Halloran, the Chair of the Law in the Mall event, the LCBA will have a large number of attorneys participating who will cover a wide variety of practice areas and offer free legal advice to members of the community who cannot afford to hire an attorney.
“I’m proud of all the local attorneys who participate,” said Law Week Chair Judge John S. Carlin. “For many of them, Law in the Mall is an extension of the countless hours they already donate each year providing help to people who otherwise would have no access to legal advice and services.”
Attorneys will offer legal direction on topics that include divorce, probate, criminal law, bankruptcy, real estate and foreclosure, as well as many others. Law in the Mall is the second event of this year’s Law Week, an annual week of activities honoring and promoting the importance of law in our community and our country.
