Fathoms to host tornado recovery fundraiser event

To assist in Cape Coral’s ongoing recovery from the Jan. 9 tornado, Fathoms Restaurant and Bar will host some of the area’s best restaurants and culinary personalities for a fundraising event at Cape Harbour Marina from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 21. Proceeds will benefit many of the Cape Coral teachers and school staff that.

Run Agrounds will reopen as the French Press on Nov. 11

The Run Agrounds coffee shop at Cape Harbour will close on Nov. 6, and reopen on Nov. 11 as a beautiful new European style coffee café under the supervision of Chef Benjamin Voisin of neighboring Fathoms Restaurant & Bar. The French Press will offer world-class gourmet coffee, and a much-needed alternative to big chain cafés.

After a brief closure from September 14 through 23, the longstanding waterfront establishment at 5785 Cape Harbour Drive will emerge with a fresh coat of paint and a new name, Fathoms.
