Fathoms to host tornado recovery fundraiser event

To assist in Cape Coral’s ongoing recovery from the Jan. 9 tornado, Fathoms Restaurant and Bar will host some of the area’s best restaurants and culinary personalities for a fundraising event at Cape Harbour Marina from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 21. Proceeds will benefit many of the Cape Coral teachers and school staff that were affected by the devastating tornado earlier this month.

Joining Fathoms will be the French Press, Nevermind Awesome Bar & Eatery, Norman Love Confections, Cape Coral Brewery, Ceno Grill, Cheney Brothers, Lobster Lady, Merrick Seafood, Nice Guys Pizza, and Water City Grill, who will delight attendees with samples of their creative cuisine. Popular local band Stolen Fruit will take the stage to set the party atmosphere.

All of the businesses involved in the fundraising efforts will donate their time, staff and food to this event. Tickets are available at Fathoms in Cape Harbour for $50 in advance, $70 the day of the fundraiser. Drink tickets can be purchased the day of the event for just $5.
