8th Annual Taste of the Cape Returns to Tarpon Point Marina

Cape Coral, Florida âThe 8th Annual Taste of the Cape, a community event held in Cape Coral that celebrates both the culinary arts and live music, will return to Tarpon Point Marina this season. A
partnership, originally developed between the Gulf Coast Symphony and Chamber of Commerce of
Cape Coral Education Committee, highlights some of the best restaurants in Cape Coral, a juried arts
and craft fair, and brings premier live entertainment, including a full symphony performance, to the
South Cape area. The event draws thousands of attendees each year and will be held on Sunday,
February 6, 2022
Again this year, the Taste of the Cape has partnered with Freeman & Hasselwander Resort Properties to move this premier culinary and music event to the exclusive Tarpon Point Marina in Cape Coral. This location highlights the natural beauty of Cape Coral with panoramic views of its incredible waterways and lush palm trees lining the seawalls.
Attendees will enjoy an international array of great food from local restaurants serving their signature dishes, plus a wide variety of craft beers & fine wines. Throughout the day, enjoy musical performances by local bands, and finish the day with another sensational Symphony at Sunset, with a waterfront view, performed by the Gulf Coast Symphony.
Back by popular demand, patrons can enjoy a unique VIP experience, with a private tent with tables and servers, VIP bathrooms, VIP parking, preferred stage-front seating, and a host of other amenities. VIP passes are extremely limited and will sell out fast. VIP as well as General Admission tickets are available online at tasteofcapecoral.com. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended in order to avoid lines at the gate. It is also recommended to show up at the beginning of the event to avoid the traffic leading into Tarpon Point Marina.
All proceeds from the Taste of the Cape support the Education Committeeâs scholarship program and the Gulf Coast Symphonyâs music education and community programs. The event is being supported by the Gunterberg Charitable Foundation.
Taste of the Cape runs from 11:00am to 6:00pm on Sunday, February 6, 2022 with musical performances throughout the day. Various Bands will perform, and the Gulf Coast Symphony will present a Symphony at Sunset concert at 4:30pm. General Admission is $10, VIP passes are $60, with food and drink prices ranging from $3â$8. 100% of net proceeds from this event go directly to local student scholarships
