Interfaith Charities of South Lee Receives Over $300,000 in Grant Funding to Support Community Programs.
Fort Myers, FL — (June 20th, 2025)- Interfaith Charities of South Lee (ICSL) is pleased to announce that it has received $307,000 in grant funding from several generous community organizations and charitable foundations. These vital funds will directly support the organization’s mission to provide hope and help for neighbors in need throughout the South Lee County area.
“We are deeply grateful to our local charitable foundations and the United Way, whose generous support makes our work possible,” said Lisa Swanson, Executive Director of ICSL. “Their investment is more than financial—it’s a vote of confidence in our mission and a reflection of the compassion within our community. Because of their support, we can reach neighbors in need, offer more services, and build a stronger, more resilient future for everyone we serve.”
2025 Grant Awards Received:
• Shadow Wood: $122,000
• Spring Run: $30,000
• Pelican Sound: $17,500
• West Bay: $25,000
• Copperleaf: $8,000
• Wild Blue: $25,000
• United Way: $78,000
• Cape Coral Community Foundation: $1,500
Total: $307,000
Grant funding is essential to the success and sustainability of ICSL’s programs. It enables the organization to provide critical services to underserved populations, fill gaps in local resources, and maintain year-round program stability. The support also enhances infrastructure, ensuring that ICSL can meet the community’s growing needs both now and in the future.
