Nick Vujicic inspires attendees at 2026 Southwest Florida Community Prayer Breakfast
Internationally recognized evangelist, author and motivational speaker Nick Vujicic delivered a powerful message of faith, perseverance and purpose during his keynote address at the 2026 Southwest Florida Community Prayer Breakfast.
Held May 7 at the Caloosa Sound Convention Center in Fort Myers, the event brought together more than 1,200 guests for a morning of unified prayer for the local community, state, nation and world. Guests heard messages centered on faith, hope and service from Vujicic, local pastors and community leaders in observance of the National Day of Prayer, which is recognized annually on the first Thursday of May.
Guests joined in prayer and worship throughout the morning before Vujicic shared his personal testimony of overcoming adversity and discovering purpose through faith. Born without arms and legs, Vujicic spoke about the challenges he faced growing up and how his faith shaped his life’s mission to encourage others around the world. His message concluded with an invitation for spiritual reflection and response, reinforcing the event’s emphasis on prayer, hope and spiritual renewal.
“When we pray, angels move on our behalf,” Vujicic said. “We need to pray for our family, our country and our state. Prayer is the foundation of why we can actually have hope.”
Vujicic, founder, president and CEO of NickV Ministries, has traveled globally sharing his testimony and spreading the Gospel. Through his ministry, he has reached millions of people and continues to inspire individuals of all backgrounds with his message of hope and resilience.
“I really hope today that people will say, ‘Wow, if God can use a man without arms and legs to be his hands and feet, then maybe God has a plan for me, too,’” Vujicic said.
