Sunshine Ace Hardware debuts ‘Hurricane Hub’ displays to encourage storm prep
Sunshine Ace Hardware stores across Southwest Florida unveiled Hurricane Hub displays on June 1, which marks the official start of the 2026 hurricane season.
The displays offer easy access to critical hurricane supplies, including items for safety, power, comfort and cleanup, as well as free hurricane guides. Through the end of July, customers also can register for giveaways, including a Generac GP Series 6500-Watt Portable Gas Generator and hurricane prep kits packaged in premium coolers.
“Many people wait until the National Hurricane Center names a storm before they start preparing, but now is the best time to assess your hurricane supplies,” said Michael Wynn, president of Sunshine Ace Hardware. “Once we’re in the forecast cone, you should be making your final preparations – not checking to see if you have enough batteries and flashlights.”
