Orlando aerospace and defense manufacturer Elite Metal Finishing expands operations to accommodate growth
Stevens Construction is underway with an expansion of Elite Metal Finishing’s east campus located at 7594 Chancellor Dr. in Orlando.
Stevens Construction is providing a 26,349-square-foot tilt-wall addition for Elite Metal Finishing, a provider of innovative and high-quality metal finishing services to industrial, aerospace and defense companies with facilities in Florida and California. The new space will include administrative office space, manufacturing and production areas, warehouse and storage space and employee support areas. Sitework includes grading, stormwater management, utility infrastructure, truck loading and delivery areas, parking and landscaping. Upon completion in spring 2027, Elite Metal Finishing will total 45,806 square feet.
Construction is being completed while the existing facility remains fully operational, requiring careful planning and coordination to minimize disruption to daily operations.
Stevens Construction provided six months of preconstruction providing feasibility studies, permitting and budgeting throughout the design.
The Stevens Construction team includes Project Manager John Riccard II, Superintendent Jay Powell and Senior Project Administrator Corrie Cochran. Heilman Architecture is the architect of record.
