Florida Panther Festival, A Family-Friendly Event to Celebrate Local Wildlife

Woodward, Pires & Lombardo, P.A. (WPL) is proud to sponsor the annual Florida Panther Festival coinciding with a Collier County Free Saturday at Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens. This exciting and worthwhile event will occur on Saturday, November 4, 2023, 9 am – 1 pm.

WPL would like to acknowledge partner Anthony P. Pires, Jr. for his tireless dedication to this event and other panther conservation efforts year after year.

The festivities include all regular Zoo activities, including seeing a Florida panther! In addition, guests will enjoy outdoor exhibits and speak one-on-one with wildlife experts. We hope you will join us for this family-friendly event to celebrate our local wildlife, including the endangered Florida panther. Free admission for all Collier County residents!

About the Florida Panther Festival in Collier County

Your support helps people and panthers. Once on the verge of extinction, Florida panthers are growing in number in south Florida and have begun to expand their breeding range. But this success in the making is not without challenges. There’s a great need for education about how to best live with these large cats. The Florida Panther Festival was created to promote the safe coexistence of people, pets, livestock, and panthers by fostering a broad appreciation for panthers and their connection to the crucial Florida ecosystems we all depend on.

See A Living Florida Panther (Did you know their color is brown?)

The 2023 Florida Panther Festival will offer guests a chance to see a Florida panther: Athena. She was born in Big Cypress National Preserve. Her mother left her behind in the den where park biologists found her.

Record Attendance

Since Naples Zoo began hosting the Festival, attendees have soared from 3,500 to 5,500 guests. Once again, the Festival will be hosted on a Collier County Free Saturday. Guests will meet rangers, biologists, and other wildlife experts while children engage in fun activities.

Education & Conservation

Your support will both help educate Festival guests and fund conservation efforts that help panthers in the wild. Make a difference for these cats and all Floridians!

Sponsor Benefits

Sponsorships start at just $100, are fully tax-deductible, and support both the Festival and panther conservation efforts. In-kind sponsorships are important, too! Please get in touch with Naples Zoo Director of Conservation Tim Tetzlaff to discuss your options at tim@napleszoo.org or 239.262.5409 ext. 122.
