Your Table Awaits at Shima Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar

Shima Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar is now open at the Sundial Beach Resort & Spa on Sanibel Island, offering culinary artistry, entertainment and delicious teppenyaki offerings.
Diners may look forward to an authentic Japanese experience as their meal is artfully prepared right before their eyes at the hibachi grill. Shima also features fresh sushi artfully prepared by a third-generation sushi chef, perfectly orchestrated to delight the senses.
“As the only Japanese Steakhouse in the area, we’re delighted to present a new culinary experience to residents, visitors and resort guests” said Phillip Starling, general manager at Sundial Beach Resort & Spa. “Shima is a unique dining destination.”
Guests may choose from an array of starters and sushi followed by entrees from the land or from the sea as well as House Specialties. A Kodomo (kids) menu for children 12 and under features hibachi and sushi selections.
Shima serves dinner from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Reservations may be made at sundialresort.com/eat
Sundial Beach Resort & Spa was recently named “Best Waterfront Dining in Southwest Florida.” The resort’s other restaurants include the Sea Breeze Café, Turtle’s Pool & Beach Bar and Slice of Paradice, a pizza and ice cream shop.
