Biography The Naples Woman’s Club is part of the General Federation of Women’s Club which is an international organization. Our NWC was founded in 1932. The club started with very modest means but even then was a force for good in Naples. We founded the first library in a room in our club. Youth Haven got its start from funds that were given through the club women. Our mission is to enhance the lives of others through philanthropic activities and volunteer service. Last year we donated over $250,000 in scholarships and to worthwhile organizations in the Naples area. Our service hours totaled over 45,000. Our different community service programs that we offer are Art, Conservation, Education, Home Life, International Outreach, and Public Issues. Over the course of our years, we’ve estimated that we’ve given almost $3,000,000 to deserving children and organizations. I have been a member since 2004 and have held the Board positions of V. P. of Administration, V. Pres. and President for 4 years. I have been the Chair of our largest fundraiser, The Kitchen Tour for 3 years and now am Co-Chair. I’ve had the joy of seeing our club grow in number and in the ability to better serve the community with financial assistance and far better programs to help educate women, men, and children. We have started a Juniorettes Program for high school ladies which is just phenomenal. We also have a Junior Woman’s Club.

Ms. Williams uses her experience to volunteer teach for Junior Achievement at various local schools and serve on the Stewardship Committee of her church. Ms. Williams and her daughter enjoy serving the Lord together on mission trips. As a former Board of Director for the Humane Society Naples, Ms. Williams adopted a 125-pound great dane/lab rescue.
