$23,000 raised for Haven of Hope International Future of Hope eudcationcampaign

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: HAVEN OF HOPE INTERNATIONAL’S 2023 “KLIMBING FOR KIDS” CAMPAIGN WITH PARTNER LASER LOUNGE SPA RAISES $23,000 FOR EDUCATION
Fort Myers, FL; August 7, 2023 – Haven of Hope International, a leading global nonprofit orphan care organization, is thrilled to announce the remarkable success of its second annual “Klimbing for Kids” fundraising campaign event in partnership with Laser Lounge Spa. An astounding $23,000 in support of Haven of Hope International’s transformative Future of Hope program was raised during Laser Lounge’s promotion in May.

Alice Sweet, Haven of Hope International founder explains: The “Klimbing for Kids” initiative has not only captivated the hearts of countless individuals in the Fort Myers area but has also served as a beacon of hope for orphaned children that are cared for in our partner orphan care homes. Through the unwavering dedication and collaborative efforts of Laser Lounge Spa we have once again demonstrated the power of unity and philanthropy in making a significant difference in the lives of those in need.”

As a result of Laser Lounge’s 2022 fundraising, scholarships were awarded to 41 of Haven of Hope International’s young adults from orphan care partner homes in Bolivia and Kenya. These scholarships have proven to be life-changing opportunities, opening doors to education, and empowering these deserving young students to pursue a brighter future.
Average educational and vocational costs for Future of Hope students are as follows: $650 annually to ensure a child attends high school, and average of $1,200 annually for university education, and vocational training costs ranging from $200 to $1,000.
By focusing on education, vocational training, and holistic support, the Future of Hope program empowers these young individuals to break free from the cycle of poverty and create a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
