3rd Annual 3K Fun Run, Walk & Roll set for Oct. 10

3rd Annual 3K Fun Run, Walk & Roll
set for Saturday, October 10, 2020 to benefit STARability Foundation

(Naples, FL –August 26, 2019) – Mark your calendars for STARability Foundation’s third annual 3K Fun Run, Walk & Roll, set from 9 to 10 a.m., Saturday, October 10. This year’s event is presented by Kurtz Homes Naples.

The 3K is a little different this year because it will be a virtual event, not in person, with registrants running, walking or rolling through their neighborhoods and sharing their experiences with the STARability community online. The event may be different in 2020, but the goals are the same as always: to support STARability participants, to bring awareness to all they can do and to have fun.

Here’s how it will work this year: (1) Register and create a team. (2) Invite your family and friends to join you in supporting the STARs. (3) Schedule your walk, run or roll at your leisure; walk, run or roll any time before October 10. (4) Share your story of why you are taking part in the 3K by sending STARability Foundation a short video that will be shared on race day. The video can be from your walk, run, roll or from your home, it’s up to you. Then, at 9 a.m. on October 10, log on to https://givebutter.com/3k-fun-run to celebrate and see everyone who took part in STARability’s first VIRTUAL 3K FUN RUN, WALK & ROLL!

“The staff and volunteers of STARability ask you to challenge your friends, family, or colleagues—no matter where they live—to enter and participate with you,” says Karen Govern, STARability’s executive director.

Registration fees are $30 for adults and $15 for children younger than 12. To register or create a team, go to: https://starability.org/3k-fun

Sponsorship opportunities are still available. For more information, please email events@STARability.org or call 239-594-9007.
