ALTAIR Gun Club to host Junior Shooting Course – Saturday, August 5

ALTAIR Gun Club will host a Junior Shooting course on Saturday, August 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at ALTAIR’s Deep Lake Facility located at 20201 State Road 29 South in Copeland, Florida.

The ALTAIR Gun Club Junior Shooting Program educates youth about safe firearm handling, competitive shooting, and outdoor shooting activities. This course will focus on enhancing decision making, teamwork, self-discipline, self-confidence, problem solving and safety with young shooters

This program is an educational and athletic program that involves shooting and team building exercises. This course is intended for students between the ages of 7 to 14. Course instructors will teach students proper handling and safety with .22 pistols and rifles. Ammo will be provided.

If participants have their own firearm they may bring it with them for training. There will be a break for lunch however students must provide their own lunches.
